PALM SPRINGS WITH FAWN DESIGN
My new favorite place is Palm Springs, California! I've been lucky to be able to go there twice so far this year! The first time was for a blog/work conference called Alt Summit. The second was just a week ago to do some work and also spend time as a family!
Palm Springs is a great place to go with your family! Especially if you live somewhere cold in the winter (like me in Utah) and need some sunshine! If you haven't picked up on it already my husband Cole, loves to golf! Palm Springs is a great golfing community! So there was lots of places for him to play! I love mid-century modern furniture and architecture and Palm Springs is known for their mid-century modern style so I was in heaven! I wanted to take pictures of nearly every home or building we drove by! Our girls were just happy to be able to play outside and go swimming!
We decided to stay in an Airbnb instead of hotel. This was our first time staying in an Airbnb and we LOVED it! The price was about the same as hotels, so it was nice to have a whole house instead of just one room. Our place had an amazing backyard with a private pool and hot tub! Vacation made! We spend the majority of our time in the pool with the girls! It was perfect!
I got Georgia and I matching swimsuits from Kortni Jeane! She loved matching me and I of course loved it too! I have tons of their suits and I love them! They are so fun to mix and match! I also loved that they are so flattering which I really appreciate since I still am working on getting back in shape since having baby June.
The food is really good in Palm Springs! They have so many restaurants for such a small town! We at a place called Trio that was top rated and for good reason! We also ate at the iconic Norma's located at the Parker Hotel. The atmosphere there can't be topped!

If you want some good shopping Palm Springs has an amazing (and huge) outlet mall about 20 minutes away! They had a Disney store which Georgia was thrilled about! There is also really great thrift shopping in Palm Springs if that is your thing!
Overall, Palm Springs is a great place to travel! Especially with kids! There are a bunch of other family friendly activities, kid friendly restaurants, and the weather is amazing! Next time you're planning a little getaway, put Palm Springs on your list!
